In 2011 Dr Michael McKinlay started an annual event here at Hautlieu that has continued to this day. 2026 will be the 15 year anniversary of the Hautlieu Summer Concert and in memory of Mike we are organising a one off special concert where we invite back former students from the 25 years he taught here. We’re calling it McKinlay’s Summer Concert and we’re hoping as many former Hautlieu students as possible will get involved in either performing, running the tech for the event or simply attending as an audience member. It will be an opportunity to celebrate Mike, his contribution to the school and all the students he crossed paths with over his 25 years here.
The event will be on the evening of Saturday 11th July 2026 in support of Jersey Hospice Care. Doors will open at 6pm for welcome drinks and buffet food for a chance to catch up with each other and share memories followed by the concert at 7pm.
Tickets are free from Eventbrite. PLEASE claim your tickets now so we have an idea of numbers for catering.
