Lewis Carroll

Head Boy

Why Hautlieu is important / special to me?
Hautlieu is special to me because it has opened so many doors to me and the future career that I am wanting to pursue in the future and especially with being the only non-fee-paying school it makes it financially beneficial for me.
What am I bringing to the team
What I hope to bring to the team is more opportunities for the school and make sure students are able to do what they feel passionate about. I want people to be able to speak to me about anything in school they are wanting to see and feel welcomed.

Kate Follain

Head Girl

Why Hautlieu is important / special to me?
Hautlieu school is a place where every individual is genuinely valued and supported. Since I joined Hautlieu, I have grown so much in confidence, and it has given me an environment where I can be myself and do what I love. The opportunities are endless no matter what your interests are and throughout my time here I have had the chance to be part of all sorts of different teams and tackle all sorts of challenges. Hautlieu has nurtured my growth and talent as an individual whilst allowing me to be a part of an incredible community where we aim for the highest.
What am I bringing to the team
I aim to be a recognisable face around school that others will feel comfortable approaching with questions and suggestions. I hope I can communicate effectively with students to strengthen the links in our school community and encourage every student to have their say in what matters to them.

Delilah Hullah-Hughes

Communications Leader

Why Hautlieu is important / special to me?
Hautlieu has always provided a space for me to grow academically and socially. Whether that is through school activities like musical or sport performances which help my self-confidence and extracurricular talents flourish, or within the classroom where teachers have provided me with endless opportunities to improve my academic success. Hautlieu has always been an enjoyable and comforting school, which I haven’t been able to experience elsewhere.
What am I bringing to the team
As communications leader, I will continually aim to spread awareness of the opportunities for both personal and academic growth within school through advertisement and public speaking. I believe a crustal part of school is expanding your experiences and personal talents in preparation for the future. Therefore, I want to be an approachable figure that can help guide and bring awareness to opportunities that may benefit all students.

Lennon Cook

Events Leader

Why Hautlieu is important / special to me?
Hautlieu is special to me because of the opportunities it creates both inside and outside the classroom. The quality of teaching has shaped the way I think and approach problems, and the school’s connections to the professional world mean that ambitions don’t just stay as ambitions. It’s a place that takes students seriously and gives them the foundation to aim for the highest, whatever direction they want to go in.
What am I bringing to the team
I hope to bring enthusiasm and creativity to everything the team takes on, particularly when it comes to organising events and making initiatives like Chique Week the best they can be. I enjoy the energy that comes with bringing people together around a shared goal, and I’m not afraid to put myself out there, whether that’s coming up with ideas, getting involved on the day, or encouraging others to do the same. I’d like to think I bring confidence that helps move things forward and makes the people around me feel like they can do the same.

Poppy Hobbs

I have made many amazing memories here at Hautlieu that are extremely special to me.

As an events leader I hope to bring creativity and increase participation in all events at Hautlieu. Personally, I am easy to approach and hope that students can talk to me about what they want to see more of in school.

Sports Captain

Why Hautlieu is important / special to me?
I have been at Hautlieu since Year 10 and I think one of the most special things about it is the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Hautlieu embraces all differences and celebrates diversity no matter the background, identity or personality through events aimed to make the school a safe place for all.
What am I bringing to the team
This year as Sports Captain, I hope to continue that inclusive nature of the school and strive to increase passion and involvement in sport. I hope to encourage everyone and help include all individuals in our sporting activities, helping promote activity at all levels. Sport is a way to help build communication, teamwork and leadership; all traits that can build a person’s character whilst having fun. These traits are important to me and if I can help others improve their health whilst boosting enthusiasm this would achieve my goals.
