16+ Application Process

Process to join Hautlieu as a Year 12 Student in September 2024

STEP 1 – Course Choice

Look at the new Sixth Form prospectus to find out more about the range of A Levels we have on offer.  Choose which subjects you would like to study, remembering to check your predicted against the entry criteria for each subject.

16+ 2025 Prospectus

STEP 2 – 16+ Online Applications Open

Applications for Sixth Form open on Tuesday 22 October 2024.  Listen to our experienced teachers giving presentations on their subjects at our 16+ Open Evening on the 22 October at 6pm.  You will also have an opportunity to view the fantastic learning facilities on the night or via a 360 °virtual tour.

STEP 3 – Apply

Please complete the online application form. Take care to accurately enter all personal information and a personal statement – remember first impressions count. All applications must be submitted by Thursday 19 December 2024.

STEP 4 – Guidance Discussions

In the Spring Term of 2024, you will receive a letter advising you on the status of your application. Students who meet the entry criteria will receive an invitation for an interview to meet with a member of our Admissions Team and discuss your application.

STEP 5 – Offers

Conditional offers to join Hautlieu Sixth Form will be sent out before Easter 2025.

STEP 6 – Induction/Audition Days

Induction/Audition days are an important opportunity for you to experience Sixth Form life at Hautlieu, all applicants will be invited to attend an induction/audition day on the 26 or 27 June 2025.

STEP 7 – GCSE Results & Enrolment

All students who wish to join Hautlieu Sixth Form should attend the school on results day to confirm their results and officially accept their place and find out how to enrol.   Term will start on the 03 September 2025.
