Dr Sutton visits Hautlieu!

We welcome Dr Sutton back to Hautlieu to work with our year 12 and year 13 students to embed and extend their knowledge of Psychology and Neuroscience.  Year 12 students at Hautlieu who attended the  workshops were able to gain a greater understanding about the functioning of different structures within the brain and the effect of this on our behaviour. Year 13 students learnt about abnormalies in mental health and also the latest research that is being conducted, including developments in brain computer interfaces and cerebral organoids.

The opportunity for students to learn first hand from a professional in this field of research and development is invaluable.  Dr Sutton is a Director, Medical Biology Interactive and Honorary Consultant and Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham Medical School.
