Mathematics Events in Jersey

Since 2015 there have been a series of regular mathematical events hosted across Jersey’s schools.

These events have been financial supported by the London Mathematical Society (LMS), Hautlieu SchoolJersey College for Girls (JCG), Jersey International Centre of Advanced Studies (JICAS) and Children, Young People, Education and Skills (CYPES).

The purpose of each event is to introduce students and teaching staff to the rich world of mathematics through talks, workshops and conversations with professional mathematicians and mathematical educators.

In 2023 CYPES and Hautlieu School supported three two-day events with Charlie Guilderdale from NRICH. The output of which can be seen here Jersey NRICH page.
