Global Citizenship is for anyone who cares about the world we live in and who wants to make a difference. You will learn about politics and governance, how governments work, what democracy means, and how decisions are made around the world. You’ll also find out about global organisations like the United Nations.
The Economic Development and the Environment unit looks at why some countries are richer than others, and how we can protect the planet while helping people live better lives. In Culture and Community you will explore different cultures, beliefs, and ways of life. It’s about understanding and respecting people who may or may not be different from you. Finally, we explore technology making you think about how technology connects us, changes the way we live, and affects our rights and responsibilities.
