‘Imaginations can be ignited anywhere, it’s one thing the pandemic can’t restrict!’

This year Hautlieu’ s Year 10 students submitted poems for the Young Writers’ Imagine! Competition.  The aim of Young Writers is to get children to enjoy reading and writing and to give them the opportunity to boost their confidence, having a real audience and to see their work in print.  This year the competition topic was Imagine!  Students were asked to use their imagination to inspire them to create their own thought-provoking poems.

Amazingly, this year the organisers received in excess of 1,500 entries!  Having reviewed all our student’s work, they were so impressed with their wringing skills so much so that they have decided to publish all our student’s work in Imagine 2021 – Amazing Dreams!  This is a tremendous result and doesn’t happen very day that an entire school’s entries are published.
